We wish our School to become the real Center which will offer services to the people with disabilities and their families in the Center and trough our services program.

Services will support:

Children and their families in early stimulation process and by empowering the family itself,

Children, parents, teacher and experts of all profiles and on all levels of tuition in “regular” schools,

Employment of people with disabilities,

Raising public sensitivity,

INFORMATION SYSTEM

Goals:

To upgrade information flow between teachers, students, parents and society

What we have done?

Established documentation and information system,

Wide range of horizontal and vertical information workflow,

Established IT key points within the School; media library and IT classroom.

Present situation:

Insufficient level of IT knowledge of our employee, students and parents,

Lack of equipment according to the potential users number

Lack of network system within the School

Tasks:

To equip the School with modern IT system and didactic materials,

To train employees, students and their parents to use modern IT systems, trough seminars and workshops,

To create network between all segments and departments within the School,

To improve the quality of education process.

RAISING THE PUBLIC SENSITIVITY

Goals:

To inform, educate, motivate and empower families which need specific social support

To inform, educate and motivate experts who are in occasionally in contact with children with specific needs of social support

To support parents in the process of rehabilitation, education, vocational training and employment

To raise public sensitivity for needs and abilities of children with specific needs of social support

What we have done?

Completed preparation phase for establishing of the Parent's service

Established Novi Sad Committee that takes care about the persons with special needs

Established Parents Association with complete inner organization

Realized numerous public campaigns whose main task was to explain the needs of persons with specific needs and support their rights

Present situation:

Lack of education among parents, who are not aware of their civil rights and have no initiative to fight for them

Experts are not sufficiently networked what results in insufficient information workflow.

Many stereotypes within wider society
