SECONDARY SCHOOL

The Secondary school "Milan Petrović" enrolls about 170 pupils each year. One year long program is designed for about 30 students which ended our Elementary school, as well as for the same number for students from South-Backa region. Our students mostly come from Backa Palanka, Backi Petrovac, Zabalj, Vrbas, Titel, Beocin and Sremski Karlovci.

In Secondary school there are 15 vocational trainings in 8 working profiles:

1. Field of work: chemistry, graphics
Working profile: printer, potter, binder assistant

2. Field of work: trade, tourism, restaurants
Working profile: cook assistant

3. Field of work: Personal services
Working profile: hairdresser, barber

4. Field of work: Textile and leather
Working profile: sewer, weaver, cobbler

5. Field of work: Metal processing
Working profile: automobile tinsmith, locksmith

6. Field of work: Forestry and wood processing
Working profile: wooden products maker

7. Field of work: Building
Working profile: house painter

8. Field of work: Agriculture and food processing
Working profile: baker, florist, gardener

Education process is structured trough:

theory classes
practice in school workshops and other facilities

General education subjects such as Serbian language and literature, mathematics, fine arts, natural sciences, social sciences, are lectured by educated teachers.

More specific subjects are lectured by engineers (graphics, textile, forestry...)

Working practice is lectured by field artisans (binders, weavers, house painters, cobblers...)

Optional subjects are religion and civil education.
